What is Hydrotherapy? click for more info
The Hydrotherapy pool was built in 2007 and was funded by the National Lottery. It was designed to enhance the lives of both the pupils and the community of Tower Hamlets. It is used by many different organisations for all types of reasons, teaching babies to swim, helping individuals by way of physiotherapy, for complex needs children and adults to aid their mobility and much more.
The Pool is 6M by 6M and 0-9 metres deep. It has the added availability of two hoists to aid individuals in changing and a poolside hoist to enable a smooth transition from changing room to the pool.
All sessions are ore overseen by a qualified Poolside attendant.
The opening times coincide with school times : 8.55 am through to closure of the pool at 3.15 pm Monday to Friday.
With regard to possible weekend availability we are looking at trying to offer Saturday 9-00 am till 17-00 closure. These times are all year round including school holidays.
The hire charges for the pool are £20.00 per hour for schools within Tower Hamlets and £40.00 for Private organisations/bookings with a maximum of nine users at any one session. The charges are based on an hourly rate and not per individual.
