Our target is at least 95% attendance for each child.
NO doctors or dentist appointments between 8.30 and 3.30 please.
You must bring in proof of Hospital or Orthodontist appointments.
If your child is absent please ring the absence line 0207 987 6032.
If a pupil is ill for more than 3 consecutive days, or 5 days within a half term we need to see a doctor's note.

HOLIDAYS - NOT IN TERM TIME PLEASE!

The Borough and School Policy says that we are unable to authorise any holidays during school time. If you do take a holiday in the school term the absence will be regarded as unauthorised and will remain on file as such. We ask you not to take your child out of school for holidays or long weekends during term time, as this seriously hinders their progress at school. It is virtually impossible to catch up on five different lessons that take place in one day.

Punctuality
Pupils must arrive in plenty of time for registration and lessons. Punctuality to school and to lessons is monitored very carefully and pupils who repeatedly arrive late - thus disturbing the learning of others will face severe consequences.

How we manage lateness:
The school day starts at 8.45am and your child will receive a late mark if they are not in by that time.

A 15 minute detention will happen on the same day if your child is late.

15 lates in a half term and you could face the possibility of a Penalty Notice if the problem persists.

If your child has a persistent late record you will be asked to come to school to resolve the problem, but you can approach us at any time if you are having problems getting your child to school on time.
