George Green's school works with a number of partners from across the community to provide a range of services for students and also for the rest of the community. Some of these services are provided out of school hours. You can find out more about who we work with below.
The Island Sports Trust
The Island Sports Trust is a charitable organisation based at George Green's School. It has a manager and eight part-time workers. Together they are responsible for managing and facilitating Community use of the School's sports facilities and for much of the Sports Development work that takes place at the School, in the absence of any support from the Local Authority's Leisure Services Department.

Docklands Youth Services
Docklands Youth Services is a network of youth and community groups, from the statutory, community and voluntary sectors who meet once a month at George Green’s School in order to share information and to plan and provide services and activities for young people living in the Blackwall Millwall and Cubitt Town wards of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.

Tower Hamlets Out of School Hours Learning
Tower Hamlets Out of School Hours Learning provides support to all primary and secondary schools in the LEA as well as to 24 community providers of Out of School Hours Learning (OoSHL) of which George Green’s is one. The OoSHL project provides a growing range of extending, enabling and enriching activities for children and young people. The service offers help and guidance with the planning, delivery and management of OoSHL programmes and seeks to secure additional funding for schools. George Green’s is the only school in Tower Hamlets to have gained Advanced level nationally for quality of the provision.
