George Green's Sixth Form is a truly inclusive post-16 provider, with courses to meet the needs of all learners.
Our students come from a variety of backgrounds. We serve the Isle of Dogs - our local community, and we also attract students from across London.
A special feature of our Sixth Form is the high proportion of international students - from Europe, Asia and the Americas - attracted by our International Baccalaureate (IB) programme.
Level 3 courses
Students who have achieved at least 5 GCSE passes at grade C or above (including English and Maths) may progress to one of our level 3 courses:
IB Diploma Programme (IBDP)
IB Career-related Certificate (IBCC)
Level 2 courses
Students wishing to take a more vocational approach and who may need to retake GCSEs in English or Maths will find our level 2 programme meets their needs. Most students follow the level 2 pathway for 1 year before progressing to a level 3 course at George Green's.
Level 1 courses
We currently offer Hospitality and Catering at level 1 - in our fully equipped industrial kitchen, supported by professionals from the catering industry.
Foundation Learning
We have a dedicated team of professionals who support our students who require additional help to access learning - we tailor a programme based on the needs of each individual student.
