Cost-of-Living Support

Find out what support is available to help you and your family get through the cost-of-living crisis.

London Borough of Tower Hamlets (LBTH) Council have confirmed that there are no current plans to provide any vouchers for Free School Meal scheme to eligible children during this Easter holiday period.

However, LBTH remain committed to providing support to families in need.  Residents in need of support can contact the Resident Support Scheme which can give discretionary awards (www.towerhamlets.gov.uk/rss) or visit the cost of living webpage which has advice and links to other support (www.towerhamlets.gov.uk/costofliving).

If you need further support please contact LBTHResidentSupport@towerhamlets.gov.uk who can arrange a meeting with you to offer advice and support in making sure you are claiming everything you are entitled to.

Please also refer to the Free School Meal page on the George Green's School website to check if your child is entitled to free school meals (FSM).  

If your child is eligible for FSM you need to get them registered.  This will allow them to get a free meal at school and, as a school, we’ll get extra funding (known as the pupil premium) to support your child’s learning.
