Safeguarding
Safeguarding is at the core of our school, and we recognise our statutory responsibility to ensure that all children feel safe. Our safeguarding team works alongside other professionals, including the police, health services and social care, to ensure that all children at our school (KCSIE 2024):

Are provided with the help and support to meet their needs as soon as problems emerge

Are protected from maltreatment, whether that is within or outside the home, including online

Are supported to prevent impairment in terms of their mental and physical health or development

Are supported to ensure that they grow up in circumstances consistent with the provision of safe and effective care

Are supported to enable them to have the best outcomes

Governments must do all they can to ensure that children are protected from all forms of violence, abuse, neglect and mistreatment by their parents or anyone who looks after them
