Tower Hamlets Summer Events

 Young people can get creative this summer with a range of free holiday activities across Tower Hamlets.  A host of exciting workshops that will include henna, animation, Somali music, Somali dance, make up for fashion, drama and much more with plenty of sessions to choose from. This is a FREE offer to young people. Spaces are limited.  Book via Eventbrite.

 

Spotlight Summer Events

Spotlight at Tower Hamlets is a youth space where you can be yourself, rest, relax and have fun. It is a Safe Space for everyone – no worry, no stress. Get Mentored by industry-leading experts in the arts, sports, and music. Boost your skills and CV in careers clinics, and more.

Spaces on programmes are fully funded and open to all aged 11 – 19, and up to 25 with SEND.

 Museum of London - Docklands 

Step inside a traditional tailor’s workshop in the East End and immerse yourself in the glitz and glamour of a Carnaby Street boutique at the height of the Swinging Sixties – when London was the world's fashion capital.

Watch Tower Bridge open and visit the famous Walkaway

At certain times of the day, the bridge opens to let large boats through. check the lift times to see when this happens. You can also get your photos in the glass-floored gallery.

Watch the street performers at Covent Garden

Covent Garden is a place for street performers to entertain a crowd. found at the West end of the plaza. You will also see the human statues , magicians, musicians and comedians. They are all free to watch welcoming donations at the end of their performances
