Year 11 GCSE Results

A Celebration of Achievement and Resilience

This year, we celebrated the exceptional achievements of our Year 11 students, who received an outstanding set of GCSE results. Despite the considerable challenges faced by this cohort—including disrupted learning during the pandemic and the absence of Key Stage 2 SATs—they demonstrated remarkable resilience, determination, and commitment throughout their studies. We are extremely proud of them.
 
The core subjects of English and Mathematics continue to perform strongly:
 
• English: 89% achieved a standard pass (grades 9–4), with 77% achieving a strong pass (grades 9–5 and above).
• Mathematics: 80% achieved a standard pass, and 57% achieved a strong pass.
 
Our commitment to delivering a broad and ambitious curriculum continues to yield impressive results across a range of subjects.
 
Triple Science:
• Biology: 53% grades 9–7, 98% grades 9–4
• Physics: 40% grades 9–7, 100% grades 9–4
• Chemistry: 43% grades 9–7, 100% grades 9–4
 
Other High-Performing Subjects:
• History: 30% grades 9–7, 84% grades 9–4
• Computer Science: 20% grades 9–7, 92% grades 9–4
• Art: 21% grades 9–7, 79% grades 9–4
• Sociology: 20% grades 9–7, 75% grades 9–4
• Religious Education (Year 10): 30% grades 7–9, 77% grades 9–4 — an 11% increase from 2024.
