We provide personalised career advice that helps young people explore a wide range of career paths, university choices, and apprenticeship opportunities, ensuring they feel supported every step of the way. Throughout the programme, our Sixth Formers take part in workshops, industry talks, and career fairs, gaining valuable insights into a range of fields.
At George Green’s, we aim to prepare your child to feel confident when entering the world of work—see the brochure below to learn more. Our careers programme also places strong emphasis on skills' development, including CV writing, interview techniques, and work experience placements, ensuring students are well-prepared for the next step in their academic or professional journey.
What is Career Ready
At George Green's, we work with Career Ready, a social mobility charity who support our students by delivering a structured programme of mentoring and a paid internship, masterclasses, and workplace visits for young people from under-represented backgrounds.
The programme in a snapshot:

What our students think about the Careers Ready at GGS
Mentor: “My mentor is from NatWest’s Investment Banking team, and their guidance has been invaluable.”
Masterclass: “My favourite masterclass was the Assessment Centres session at ANZ Bank.”
Internship: “I completed a four-week internship at NatWest’s head office, which has inspired me to study Economics and pursue a career in the banking sector.”
