At George Green’s School, we recognise the value of work experience. That’s why we offer a programme with in-person and virtual opportunities, as well as paid internships. Students connect with leading organisations, gain real-world experience, shadow professionals, and develop essential skills for their future careers. Learn more about our work experience programme in the sections below:

Year 10 | In July, we provide a cohort of students with work experience across various different sectors. Students should make an online application and will attend an interview before completing a one-week placement. Details will be provided to students and parents closer to the time

Year 12 |  All Students will complete a one week work experience placement in July. There are also additional in person placements throughout the academic year in various sectors from October - August. We also offer paid Internship opportunities lasting up to 4 weeks.

Through our Career Ready programme, students have the opportunity to take part in a 4-week paid internship at multinational organisations during the summer of Year 12. Here they have the exclusive opportunity to gain an insight into the work place by contributing to real projects, work with professionals at different seniority and earn up to £2000!
